dc.description.abstractУ статті проаналізовано припущення дослідників історії Києво-Могилянської академії про те, що серед її вихованців у другій половині XVIII ст. стало менше представників світських станів і більше студентів з родин духовенства. Автор аргументовано доводить, що відсоткове представництво лаїків скорочувалося за рахунок зростання загальної кількості спудеїв, проте чисельні показники не зазнавали різких змін. The scholars in theirs explorations of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy presume from the 19th century until present day that the number of students from cleric families grew up rapidly in the second part of the 18th century and the number of lay ones reduced. This conclusion, however, needs to be specified. It is correct to conclude about the reduction of laity in percentage only in the situation when the number of students from all social groups increased, but the number (not percentage) of lay “academicians” didn’t change considerably.uk
