Abstract
The author suggests the criteria for assessing the quality of quantitative content analytical studies. The
criteria are based on the requirements of Ukrainian and foreign methodologies for each stage of content
analysis: conceptual and operational schema creation, quantification, sampling, analysis and producing
conclusions. Two types of findings in content-analytical studies are distinguished: textual and contextual,
specific requirements for each are determined.
