Abstract
The article investigates main characteristics of job before leaving education and impact of this type of work experience on current labour market situation of Ukrainian youth. The main findings of the research are based on the data of 2007 sociological survey Transition from School to Work conducted by Kyiv International Institute of Sociology at the initiative of the European Training Foundation.
