dc.description.abstractThe phenomena of nostalgias for the socialist past in Central and Eastern Europe with a number of their components are presented on the examples of East Germany and Ukraine. Possible ways of researching them within the postcolonial methodological framework are discussed. Research hypotheses and question for further comparative studies of (n) ostalgias are developed based on the assumptions of postcolonial theories.en
