dc.description.abstractСтаттю присвячено вивченню остеологічного матеріалу, який було виявлено на пам’ятці Огрінь 8, яку датовано мезолітичним часом, а її технокомплекс відповідає культурі кукрек. Пам’ятка являє собою поселення давньої людини, на якому було відкрито сліди від десяти помешкань-землянок. Об’єктом дослідження цієї роботи є археозоологічний аналіз кісткових решток тварин, який походить із землянок № 5 і 8. У статті розглянуто всі групи тварин, які являли собою об’єкт мисливського промислу давньої людини. Видовий склад тварин пам’ятки представлений дикими видами ссавців, а також птахів і риб, що свідчить про розвинену форму привласнювального господарства. Полювання на великих копитних тварин було основою мисливського господарства мешканців стоянки. Завдяки великому коефіцієнту м’ясної маси полювання на них ефективніше забезпечувало первісний колектив прохарчуванням. Результати дослідження стосуються видового визначення решток тварин з пам’ятки та інтерпретації результатів у контексті реконструкції стратегії виживання колективу поселення.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article discusses osteological material of the Ohrin 8 settlement. This settlement existed during Mesolithic times. The technical complex of the site corresponded with the Kukrek Culture. The site is located in the Dnipo city eastern periphery in the lower Dnieper river basin. Ohrin 8 settlement research history began in the period between World War I and World War II. In 1927-1932 there was a savage archaeological expedition during building of the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station. O. M. Miller’s group (the chief of the expedition was D. I. Yavornitskiy) discovered Ohrin 8 settlement. D. Y. Telegin provided further excavations in 1973-1990. Bibikova V.I. is the author of the fist osteological material description. Today they require is more detailed examination and interpretation. The bone material preservation is not very good, but it is sufficient to identify animal species. Most of the bones in the collection are particularly crushed; some have signs of fire; cracking due to weathering and staying in a humid environment. The forest fauna is represented in Ohrin 8 settlement. Probably, the ancient population of the settlement were hunted on the forestenian Dnieper river banks. Large hoofed animals (such as turbot or bison, red deer, wild horse, wild pig, and red deer) were the main hunting purpose for ancient people from Ohrin 8 in Mesolithic times. In addition, the settlement collection consists of osteological remains by fur animals (fox, hare, beaver, and wolf). Fishing and hunting for birds were important too in Ohrin 8 paleoecology system. The major part of bones are cooking wastes. The study results relate to the reconstruction of the hunting and hunting strategy of the settlement community.en_US
