| dc.description.abstract | Стаття є спробою аналізу наявних підходів до розуміння рівня розвитку військової справи скотарів середньобронзового віку. Складність і актуальність питання зумовлено тим, що немає писемних та іконографічних джерел цієї доби. Висновки щодо рівня розвитку військової справи здійснено на основі доволі специфічних наявних джерел, а саме поховальних пам’яток. Їхня специфічність полягає у сакральності, тому доволі багато знахідок мають суто символічний характер. Знахідки зброї та військового реманенту вказують на важливість військової справи для катакомбників. Поховання зі слідами поранень свідчить про наявність військових сутичок як із представниками інших культур бронзової доби, так і всередині катакомбної спільноти. Військові сутички могли бути пов’язані з типом господарства - рухомим скотарством. Рухоме скотарство передбачає постійні суперечки за природні ресурси, що своєю чергою і призводило до військових дій. Враховуючи те, що поховання з військовим реманентом є як "багаті", так і без ознак високого рангу похованого, досі точаться суперечки щодо соціального статусу військових цієї доби. Проте остаточно вирішити питання щодо рівня організації військової справи доволі складно, адже питома вага поховань зі спеціалізованою зброєю досить невелика. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | The Catacomb culture is one of the brightest cultures of Ukraine’s steppe zone of the Bronze epoch. In spite of numerous excavations and substantial accumulation of archaeological materials, many questions remain debatable; in particular, it is the question about the level of development of the military business. Numerous burials with the articles of armament testify that the military business was important during this archaeological culture. There is no generally accepted fact going close to understanding of the level of development of the military matter of the epoch during the middle Bronze. The worked out level of this question is at the level of hypotheses. Complication of this subject consists in that writing and iconography sources are absent, and formation of theories and approaches is fully based on the funeral sources that have a set of specific features. The main of them lies in the sacral sphere of the burial place ceremony. According to one supposition, Catacombers had a developed military organism, with clear segmentation and classification of troops and differentiation on the types of armament. However, this hypothesis is only confirmed at the level of sources. The analysis of archaeological materials and funeral complexes testifies to the absence of soldiery selection in a separate professional sphere. | en_US |
