dc.description.abstractСтаттю присвячено визначенню періоду військово-політичної присутності, а також ролі, яку відігравали авари в Північному Причорномор’ї. Писемні джерела дають змогу окреслити час аварського володарювання в цьому регіоні між 558 та 568 рр. Наслідком війни 576–584 рр. між І Тюркським каганатом та Візантією стало вторгнення тюркютів у Північне Причорномор’ю, що унеможливило вплив авар на Південно-Східну Європу. Аналіз писемних джерел не дає підстави говорити про факт походу аварів 602 р. та розгром ними антського союзу.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article deals with the definition of Avarian period of military presence in the region near the Black Sea. According to writing sources chronological frames of Avarian domination in this region are between 558 and 568 AD. Encroachment of Turkjut peoples upon the region near the Black Sea was a consequence of war between I Turkic khaganate and Byzantine Empire in 576–584 AD. Thus, Avarian influence to Southeast Europe was impossible. There is no proof in the writing sources that the Avarian campaign took place in 602 AD or that they defeated the union of Ants.en_US
