Abstract
Статтю присвячено проблемі рідної мови та її самовизначенню білінгвами. Виділено функціональний та культурно-ціннісний критерії, за якими мовці визнають рідною ту чи іншу мову, а також схарактеризовано можливі варіанти визнання двомовними особами рідної мови. За результатами анкетування проведено порівняння самовизначення білінгвами рідної мови та мови спілкування їхніх батьків, комунікативної поведінки респондентів та їхньої декларованої рідної мови.
Description
The article deals with the problems of native language and its self-determination by bilinguals. It
has picked out functional and cultural values criteria for identification this or that language as native.
Moreover possible options of determination the native tongue by bilinguals are given. On the basis of
the poll, the comparison has been done of the native tongue determination methods of bilingual person
and their parents. The author analyses communicative behavior of the respondents and their declared
native language.
