Abstract
У статті аналізуються епіграфічні й археологічні пам'ятки Херсонеса Таврійського IV-III cт.
до н. е., які дають відомості про роль та функції голови ойкосу в культах, що проводилися
в межах родинного кола.
Epigraphic and archaeological monuments from Tauric Chersonesos of 4h-3rd cc. BC analyzed in the article are viewed here as the sources for the development of the issue about the role of head of oikos in cults performed within family circle. The conclusion is made that the leading religious role of men as householders and juridical, political, and religious representatives of members of their families in the community, as distinct from other Ancient Greek centers, in Chersnesos of the Hellenistic period was still existent and relevant.
