Abstract
Статтю присвячено історії дослідження (на основі археологічних, епіграфічних та нумізматичних
джерел) основних божеств Херсонеса Таврійського з часу заснування поліса до початку
римського періоду.
The article deals with the history of research (based on the archaeological, epigraphic and numismatic sources) of the Hellenic cults of gods, that were worshipped by the whole Tauric Chersonesos community during the period of VI-I ВС. The changes of priorities in the study are systemized into three periods. From the theories formulated in the first period, through the barbaric religious influence stated in the second one, to the generalizations based on review of all available sources in last decade. The understanding of Chersonesos cults as part of ancient Greek religion should be used in conclusions making.
