Abstract
Житло є важливим елементом життєзабезпечення людини. Тому вже найдавніші люди будували
примітивні житла. Так, в Чернівецькій області було виявлено багатошарову стоянку Молодове I,
в ранньопалеолітичних шарах якої (4-й мустьєрський шар) було зафіксовано залишки житлової
споруди.
The discovery of the on-earth mousterian dwelling on the settlement Molodove I (Chernivtsy region, Ukraine) is the unique event. But the interpretation of the finds and the reconstruction of the dwelling, proposed by the auther of the excavations O. P. Chernysh is rather contestable and calls definite doubts. Thanks to the studying of the archives materials the great number of questions about the interpretation of the facts were raised. There is still exist lots of incomprehensible things in the interpretation of the dwelling such as: the functional purpose of the bones' facing of the dwelling, the fire-places in the dwelling area, the existence of the additional cells and of the partition in the principal cell. AU these questions stimulate us for more detailed studying and for new reconstructions.
