Abstract
The main goals of this thesis are to establish and assess (a) what relations compose the subject matter of the DSM and how they are regulated at the EU level from the policy and legal perspectives; (b) how the EU responds to the modern digital challenges, in particular in terms of securing the fundamental rights and key freedoms; and (c) the prospects of Ukraine’s integration into the DSM.
