Abstract
У статті розглянуто фразеологізми з компонентом-антицизмом, а також ідіоми античного походження в текстах Володимира Короткевича крізь призму їхньої семантико-стилістичної характеристики. Більшість із виявлених одиниць кодифіковано. Проте виявлено, що в найповніших фразеографічних кодексах сучасної білоруської літературної мови не описано певну кількість фразеологізмів, що засвідчені у творчості цього автора.
The article deals with phraseologisms with the component -antichism and idioms of the ancient origin in the texts of the classic of Belarusian literature of the second half of the twentieth century Uladzimir Karatkevich. Phraseologisms with the component -antichism often occurred in the texts of the Belarusian and Ukrainian writers. However, with linguistic methods, phraseologisms are discovered relatively rarely The study of phraseology is devoted to much more literary works than the study of linguistics. The purpose of the article is to show the peculiarities of the use of the meanings of phraseologisms in the texts of U. Karatkievich through the prism of their semantic-stylistic characteristics. In the Belarusian language, phraseologisms of Greek-Latin origin, not related to the Christian sacred sphere, are quite common. Few phraseological units with a component -anticism are used by the Belarusian writer, most of them are codified. Units that are reminiscences to texts from ancient sources are used by U. Karatkievich. They are not originated directly from the works of ancient authors; for example, they are related with ancient Greek myths. Therefore, it is much more difficult to establish a connection between such phraseology and its source. Most of the phraseologisms with the named component are peculiar to the poetic texts of the author, and the frequency of such units in prose is noticeably lower. Individual phrases are metaphorized by U. Karatkievich at the first stage of the creation of phraseologisms, after which in some cases a phraseologism is formed. Often, this process remains incomplete, so much of these expressions have metaphorical signs. However, sometimes a complete phraseological unit is isolated from the structure of the metaphor. Occasional phraseological units that can potentially pass into the category of the usual ones and be fixed in the phraseographical codes of the modern Belarusian literary language are created by U. Karatkievich.
