Abstract
У статті увага зосереджується на необхідності сучасного
переосмислення соціально-політичного вчення Ж.-Ж. Руссо, етапним
початком розгортання якого була дисертація мислителя "Про політичну
економію". У ній вперше в історії західноєвропейського суспільствознавства
автором був сформульований основоположний Закон розвиненого
громадянського суспільства, що можливе лише за умов узгодження у всіх
сферах культури і спілкування людей інтересів та волевиявлень індивідів з
інтересами та волевиявленням людських спільнот різної чисельності й різних
соціально-політичних ієрархій.
The article deals with a small volume but paradigmatic for its scientific content social and economic work of a Swiss-French philosopher, writer, art expert J.-J. Rousseau “On Political Economy” (1755), describing a powerful predictive version of formation and functioning of a perfect society. In a purely political economy field, this work for its issues and means of understanding has connection with the studies of that time of French economistsphysiocrats headed by F. Cenet. In broad terms, there is a far-sighted organic complementarity concept of economics, politics, morality, education and other areas of human activity, giving the possibility to argue about the existence of all the necessary beginnings of complete philosophy of economics. Yet the most important attainment and core of “On Political Economy” is the author’s study of developed society. According to J.-J. Rousseau, a man, undoubtedly and fundamentally, is a social being, and perfection of human communities depends directly on comprehensiveness and completeness of their members’ socialization. On a sufficient level of development, the existing social and political communities can become concerted and monolithic “political organisms” where individuals permanently improve communities, and communities improve individuals. Only in such social circumstances a perfect “society” and a selfsufficient personality - “citizen” can be formed, and democratic “state”, political forms of “rule” and all social and legal institutions derive from them.
