| dc.description | The article analyses the adverbial adverbs of time on denotation of parts of a day fixed by the author in the Middle Polissian dialects of Zhytomyr area. The basis of such dialectal adverbiatives is presented by nominal derivates that demonstrate a formal variety mainly on the phonetic and word-formation levels. The analysed dialects make an actively used and considerable layer of the dialectal vocabulary on a volume. In the basis of such аdverbiatives there are mainly substantival roots ‘ran-, vechir-, nich-, den-’ that express the names of the basic sentinel segments during twenty-four hours, which are known on the other walks of life of Ukrainian-linguistic dialectal continuum although they have differences in the phonetic and word-formation filling that testifies to the general progress of the dialectal adverbial system trends and archaicy of this layer of vocabulary. The variant of analyzable аdverbiatives is marked even in the speech of one dialect speaker, which testifies to activity of their functioning as one of the most used digits of adverbs next to local adverbs as the basic representatives of semantics of place and time in the dialectal speech. The collected material in the Middle Polissian dialects of Zhytomyr area grounds to consider the dialects of time on denotation of parts of a day in the context of Polishchukys’ world view, as often enough adverbial lexemes function without the specification of pointing on morning-daily or evening-night time in opposition in ‘light part of a day’ – ‘in dark part of a day’. At the same time for the name of concrete parts of a day in accordance with semantics of the adverbs such basic semy are distinguished: ‘very early, before the sunrise’, ‘in the morning’, ‘in daily time, in a day’, ‘in evening time, in the evening’, ‘in a night-time, at night’ formed mostly from the roots that express the semantics of corresponding part of a day. | en |
