dc.descriptionThe article analyses the pictorial heritage of this prominent director of the XX century. The author of the article proves the ideological independence of Paradjanov as the author of collages, and the high aesthetic of his work of art. Collages by Paradjanov visualize the transition from the Aristotle’s mimesis of the Plato‘s poesis as a fundamental principle of modernism. Principles of artistic “play”, metaphorical significance, vagueness of images, collaging which is the threading of many associative signs on one emotional axis closely connects the creative method of Paradjanov with the “nomadism” of A.-B. Oliva who originated the concept of transvanguard as the “art of citation”.en
