dc.description.abstractThe article examines the legal nature of such manifestations of the taxpayer's legal behavior as tax planning and tax avoidance, defined as activity or inactivity on the part of taxpayers directed at the minimization or avoidance (prevention) of their tax liabilities. The paper further attempts to draw the line of distinction both between tax planning and tax avoidance as the constituents of the taxpayer's legal behavior and between these phenomena and tax evasion as illegal activity.en
