dc.description.abstractПрезентація для викладачів та студентів Pratt Institute, New York, USA, 27 березня 2023. The main aim - to provide brief information about the state of Ukrainian cultural institutions (Libraries, Archives, Museums) in wartime extreme conditions and the preservation of cultural objects as a component of national memory. Since February 24, 2022, more than 1,200 objects of cultural infrastructure, including more than 550 different monuments and objects of cultural heritage, in Ukraine have been seriously damaged or destroyed by Russian troops. Russia's full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine causes serious destruction of civilian objects, including cultural institutions, churches and mosques, theaters and museums, and objects of cultural heritage, incl. UNESCO World Heritage sites. How to preserve potentially endangered data and technology of Ukraine's cultural institutions (projects and initiatives). The issue of damage of Ukrainian cultural heritage in the light of norms of international humanitarian law as cultural genocide.
