| dc.description | ‘Crimea as Temple Mount’ is a new discourse articulated by Russian President Putin as an ideological cover for the Crimea annexation (2014) which is set as prolonging of ‘the Crimea myth’. The mentioned myth is represented through ‘Legendary Sevastopol’ during the Soviet times and ‘the Crimea is ours’ nowadays. The compensatory discourse set after the tragic Crimean war (1853–1856) as sublimation of the posttraumatic mentality determined with a bunch of military and political Russian losses on the Crimean territory. First and foremost, expressive representations of the Sevastopol image via intertext of songs refer to the ‘sacral geography’. The article puts to analysis the transformation of the Sevastopol image from the warrior place through the fortress-place to the dream-place. However, the role of Sevastopol ‘sacral mounts’ is defined as a monument to ‘Russian spirit’. Sevastopol in the Socialistic Imaginary was presented as the extraterritorial ‘sailor motherland’. Therefore, longing of ‘Sevastopol’ discourse was structured as anti-Ukrainian and it got obvious, but the fact was ignored from the Ukrainian state side. Generally, mythopoetics of mass culture is an ideological projection which consists of mental archaic formations: archetypes, concepts, semantic oppositions. The modern political mythology is said to be an open system operated with virtual categories as well. The goal of suggested research is to reveal, interpret, and decode those categories in the field of the modern political mythology. The article empathizes the conflict of identities in the Crimean borders: Crimean Tatar and Great Russian symbolized with Sevastopol which takes place from the Crimea annexation of 2014. Crimean Tatars are obviously not in the picture for the Great Russian world articulated by President Putin on the basis of the ‘Crimean myth’. A new mythological discourse traces the roots of the Russian Empire idea from Jerusalem, passing Kyiv which was said to be cornerstone of Russian statehood before. In return, indigenous Crimean people, who were back from deportation, have a right to define themselves on their own land. Nevertheless, the fate of those people is rather problematic for the moment. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | "Крим як Храмова гора" – новітній дискурс, артикульований російським президентом Путіним як ідеологічне прикриття анексії Криму 2014 р., що виступає пролонгацією "кримського міфу". Зазначений міф редставлений дискурсами "Легендарний Севастополь" у радянський та "Крим наш" у пострадянський періоди. Компенсаторні дискурси започатковано трагічними подіями Кримської війни (1853–1856 рр.) як сублімація посттравматичної ментальності, обумовлена низкою військових та політичних поразок Росії на території Кримського півострова. Експресивні репрезентації образу Севастополя через пісенний інтертекст, передусім, стосуються російської "сакральної географії". Таким чином, тривалий "севастопольський" дискурс структурувався як антиукраїнський, що було очевидним, хоча й ігнорованим фактом з боку держави Україна. Загалом міфопоетика масової культури є проекцією ідеології, яка містить у собі арсенал архаїчних ментальних утворень: архетипів, концептів, семантичних опозицій. Так само сучасна політична міфологія уявляється відкритою системою, що оперує віртуальними категоріями.
