dc.description.abstractВ статті розглядається підготовка майбутніх ієреїв в Київській православній митрополії XVIII ст. Дослідження переважно сфокусовано на аналізі конкретних практик вишколу парохів. Головним джерелом слугують реєстри грошей, сплачених в кафедрі при отриманні священства (більше десятка однотипних реєстрів за 1737 р., та один за 1736 р.). Зафіксовані суми дають змогу реконструювати особливості навчання/ екзаменування "по-кафедральному". У такій підготовці ключовим для ставлеників було випробування в читанні, після того - обов’язкова сповідь. У вишкіл майбутніх ієреїв, як вдалося з’ясувати, входили навчання катехізису та чинопослідуванню богослужінь і, можливо, церковному співу, основи проповідництва або, швидше, знайомство з повчальною літературою. Особливу увагу звертали на моральні якості майбутнього ієрея. Така "програма", хоч і була вужчою, ніж вимагалося законодавчо, представляє основні очікувані напрями діяльності священика на парафії: звершення Літургії, виконання треб, навчання пастви основам віри. Кафедра монополізувала право на навчання ставлеників. Розглядати Могилянську академію, як основну школу для майбутнього парафіяльного духовенства Київської митрополії, невірно. Базовим для ставлеників у XVIII ст. було навчання при кафедрі - у школі при архієрейському домі, що мала, насамперед, "професійне" спрямування. Київська кафедра, як структура, і духовенство, як певна корпорація, у XVIII ст. самостійно вирішували питання освіти своїх нових членів, а певний рівень освіченості, був обов’язковою умовою для набуття священства.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article considers the question of the preparation of future priests in the Kyiv Orthodox Metropolis of the 18th century. The research begins with the analysis of the legislative framework, but the main emphasis is put on the study of the real practices. The main source is the rosters of money which were paid in the cathedra while receiving the priesthood (more than a dozen rosters of the same type in 1737, and one in 1736). On the basis of the paid sums, the author tries to reconstruct the features of studying/examining "in cathedral". The key point for the disciples was a test in reading, after which a mandatory confession. In the "educational programme" of the future priests there was the study of the catechism, the basics of preaching, or rather getting acquainted with instructive literature and worship, and possibly, church singing. Special attention was paid to clarifying the moral qualities of the future priest. This stipulation is narrower than it was required by law, but it represents the main expected directions of activity of the priest in the parish: holding the Liturgy, providing services, and teaching the congregation to the basics of the faith. The Cathedra monopolized the right to teach the disciples, not allowing anyone to qualify for the preparation of future priests. The article emphasizes that considering Kyiv-Mohyla Academy as the main school for the priesthood of the Kyiv Metropolis is not right. The base for the students of the Kyiv Metropolis of the 18th century was the education in Cathedra, a school at the bishop’s house which had, foremost, a "professional" direction. Kyiv Cathedra as a structure, priesthood as a certain corporation in the 18th century solved the education issue of their new members independently, and a certain level of education was an obligatory condition for getting the priesthood.en_US
