dc.descriptionIn this article the first results of archaeological and palynological investigations carried out on the territory of ancient Kiev are presented. By the materials of palynological studies of the samples taken from the pagan burials from the territory of Michael's golden-domical cathedral and ajoining territories, there were considered the composition of flora and vegetation which was spread on the territory of Kiev in the m i d d l e— second half of X century AD (transitional period from paganism to Christianity). Obtained palynological characteristics are the evidences of essential influence of human activity on the vegetational cover of the ancient town. Also there was made a conclusion that among the main species of town's dendroflora during those time, a big role belonged to Tilia cordata.en
dc.description.abstractВ статті наводяться перші результати археолого-палінологічних досліджень, проведених на території стародавнього Києва. За матеріалами палінологічного вивчення зразків з язичницьких поховань на території комплексу Михайлівського Золотоверхого собору та прилеглих до нього територій встановлено склад флори та рослинності, поширених на території Києва в середині—другій половині Х ст. н. е. (перехідний період від язичництва до християнства). Отримані палінологічні характеристики свідчать про суттєвий вплив антропогенного фактора на рослинний покрив стародавнього міста. Зроблено висновок, що серед основних порід дендрофлори міста в ті часи помітну роль відігравала липа серцелиста.uk
