dc.description.abstractНедержавні організації є важливою компенсаційною силою суспільства, що забезпечує соціальну стабільність, оскільки задовольняє такі потреби населення, які не може задовольнити держава. Прикладом є діяльність діабетичних організацій. Метою їх існування як в Україні, так і у Польщі є підвищення якості життя людей, хворих на діабет. У статті детально висвітлюється діяльність діабетичних громадських організацій, спрямована на допомогу людям, хворим на цукровий діабет, у створенні матеріальних та соціально-психологічних умов для повноцінного життя.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractNon-governmental organizations form an important compensating force, which ensures social stability as it satisfies the range of social needs, which state fails to meet. The activity of diabetes organizations is the case. Both in Ukraine and in Poland these organizations aim in improving the quality of life of people with diabetes. Currently over 30 thousand non-governmental organizations are registered in Ukraine, and 29 thousand - in Poland (as of 1994). Diabetes movement in Poland is one of the most active ones and Polish Diabetes Association is one of the most numerous organizations. The diabetes movement in Ukraine has much shorter history and could be presented by the cases of Ukrainian Diabetes Federation and International Diabetes Association of Ukraine. The current article gives a detailed description of how diabetes public organizations by their various activities try to help people with diabetes to create the social, psychological and financial requisites for a full life notwithstanding the fact of severe condition.en_US
