dc.description.abstractУ статті висловлено гіпотезу, що апокриф «Ходіння Агапія до раю» є тематичним інтекстом п’єси М. Куліша «Народний Малахій». У розвідці зроблено спробу простежити генетико-контактні зв’язки між середньовічним наративом та текстом першої третини ХХ ст. Окрім засвоєння окремих образів, мотивів, сюжетів, у драмі адаптовано структуру ходінь до раю, «жанру-васала», у межах якого відбулася інтеграція двох літературних таксономічних одиниць – ходіння та утопії. З погляду семіотики простору вказано на ізоморфізм топосу шляху в паломницьких текстах та драмі Миколи Куліша і доведено залежність описових парадигм радянізованого Харкова в «Народному Малахії» від Едемського локусу в українських середньовічних апокрифах.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe paper dwells upon the reception mechanisms of the motif of the journey to the earthly Paradise in Mykola Kulish’s drama. In this study, we have hypothesized that apocrypha “The Walk of Agapius to the Paradise” is a thematic intext of the play “Narodnyi Malakhiy”. The article attempts to trace geneticcontact relations between the medieval text and the modernistic one. This research investigates the ways of adaptation of walking into the Paradise into the modernistic play as a medieval “genre-vassal” that consists of two separate literary taxonomic units: walking and utopia. Therefore, the description of the road to the earthly Paradise is characterized by the “trace” of literary pilgrimages and hagiography; the description of the Garden of Eden is based on ancient Greek and medieval utopias. The study goes beyond this to illustrate the role of monomyth in the narrative structure of “The Walk of Agapius to the Paradise” and “Narodnyi Malakhiy” by using the tools of the myth-ritual approach and Igor Smirnov’s theory of psychodiachronology; from a literary genealogy perspective, the paper analyzes isomorphism of the road topos in walkings into the Paradise, literary pilgrimages, and Mykola Kulish’s drama. From a semiotic point of view, the researcher has proved the dependence of descriptive paradigms of Kharkiv in “Narodnyi Malakhiy” on the locus amoenus depicted in Ukrainian medieval apocrypha. A special attention in our text analysis is given to the transcoding specificity of the Christian mythologemes into communistic ones.en_US
