Abstract
У статті подано огляд концепцій походження та розвитку житлобудування літописних
сіверян - носіїв роменської археологічної культури. На підставі аналізу всієї сукупності праць
із зазначеної тематики відзначено основні тенденції розвитку знань стосовно житлових споруд
"роменців".
The article gives history of study of romens'kaya culture dwellings. By the long-term researches archaeologists create typology of dwelling constructions and heating buildings. They built social reconstructions on materials of the dwelling buildings. But, in spite of sufficient development of theme still remain not decided row of important questions. This touches the origin of the romenskaya culture dwelling and its place in the system of settlement structures. All this gives perspectives for the future researches.
