Abstract
The article generalizes different research approaches to a term as the central concept in terminology. A new definition of the treasury term and treasury term system is also given. A classification of the treasury vocabulary is offered. Specifically, general economic terms are distinguished, as well as professional vocabulary and terms borrowed from the general use.
