Description
The article gives a description of a method of studying the German language as the second foreign language. The method is proposed by the Gaute-Institute. The stress is made on speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. It forms a general idea about the language structure. The method uses many games inspired by the structure of the textbook. The subject has the main importance in the training lessons. The principle of learning grammar lies in the basis of the method. It teaches grammar as a help to communication. As the experience shows, the communicative method allows students to master the communicative skills and grammar material quickly. In order to master the basic skills for communication they need 4 terms.
