Adsorption properties of chemically modified silica adsorbents with grafted 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol and 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphtol have been studied by spectrophotometry and atomic absorption analysis at Со2+ and Cd2+ ions extraction from the water solutions in the static conditions.
