Item Evaluation of correlation between STR markers standardized for dog identification and phenotypic traits(Галич-Прес, 2025) Shevchuk, Karyna; Plyhun, Viktoriia; Antonyuk, MaksymThe domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris) is one of the most morphologically variable mammals and serves as an exceptionally intriguing model for exploring selection pathways. Research into its genetics is crucial for understanding the mechanisms of phenotypic trait inheritance, breed history, and the development of modern identification methods. Thanks to molecular genetic markers—particularly short tandem repeats (STRs)—it has become possible to distinguish individual animals and breeds effectively. This capability is actively utilized in studies of the genetic structure of dog populations, in the analysis of congenital disorders, forensic science, and canine breeding practices.Item Excitation and emission spectra of polyvinylpyrrolidone/ZnO nanocomposites with various interfaces(2017) Rudko, Galyna; Fediv, Volodymyr; Gule, Evgen; Isaieva, Oksana; Petrova, Kh. V.Presentation speech at the International Research and Practice Conference "Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials" (NANO-2017), 23-26 August 2017, Chernivtsi, Ukraine.Item Removal of heavy metal ions from water using combination of functionalized silicas with membranes(2017) Sliesarenko, V.; Fetisova, Yu.; Dudarko, O.; Zub, Yu.Presentation speech at the International Research and Practice Conference "Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials" (NANO-2017), 23-26 August 2017, Chernivtsi, Ukraine.Item The significance of urban conservation areas for the preservation of migratory birds in Scotland (a case study of Glasgow)(2024) Dzhuma, Veronika; Derevska, Kateryn; Klestov, MykolaThis study looks at avian variety of three urban parks in Glasgow, Scotland, and highlights the significance of such green places for biodiversity protection. The study identified a number of bird species, both common and rare, and linked their presence to ecological parameters like adaptation, diet, distribution, and migratory behaviour. The different habitats within the parks were discovered to be critical for avian biodiversity and providing stopover areas for migrating birds.Item Study of guanidine-containing oligomer for desinfectant application(2025) Hodlevskyi, H.; Hudyma, A.; Vakuliuk, Polina; Pryshchepa, Oleksandra; Furtat, Iryna; Vortman, Maryna; Fijalkowski, Pawel; Rafińska, K.; Lemeshko, Valentyna; Murlanova, Tetiana; Smarsly, Bernd; Pomastowskі, Paweł; Shevchenko, V.The purpose of this project is a creation of guanidine containing oligomer, that could be used as a disinfectant against multiresistant microorganisms.Item Synthesis of mesoporous materials for extraction of heavy and rare-earth metal ions(2016) Dudarko, O.; Gaidai, Alina; Sliesarenko, V.; Prybora, N.; Zub, Yu.The material of the speech at Ukrainian conference with international participation "Chemistry, physics and technology of surface" devoted to the 30th anniversary of the founding of Chuiko Institute of Surface Chemistry of NAS of Ukraine and Workshop "Nanostructured biocompatible / bioactive materials" (17-18 May 2016, Kyiv, Ukraine).Item Visible photoluminescence of aged Zn(acac)2/C2H5OH solution: emission/excitation/kinetics study(2017) Vasin, A.; Kysil, D.; Rudko, Galyna; Isaieva, OksanaPresentation speech at the International Research and Practice Conference "Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials" (NANO-2017), 23-26 August 2017, Chernivtsi, Ukraine.
