dc.description.abstractThe Haivoron region of Kirovohrad province is the central part of Ukraine, about 310 km south of Kuiv. It borders on the Cherkasy, Odesa and Vinnytsya regions and its territory is 694 sq km. It is famous for the graphite, granite and yellow clay, moreover here could be found crystal rock on the surface on the South Buh valley. In 1954 there was built a hydro-electric powerstation with a 6300 kW capacity on the Southern Buh river.en
