dc.description.abstractThis chapter focused on the reviewing of socio-economic drivers (sectors directly or indirectly related to the Black Sea) as well as on the pressure on the environment, social and economic consequences of environmental changes, and riparian countries (Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russian Federation, and Ukraine) response to address challenges at national and regional levels and promote sustainable development of the Black Sea region. The chapter ends with the conclusions of socio-economic aspects.en_US
