dc.descriptionThe Polish National Liberation January Uprising of 1863–1864, which covered the western and southwestern territories of the Russian Empire, had, among others, its distinctive Ukrainian dimensions, the retrospective review of which is devoted to the proposed collective monograph. These dimensions are multifaceted, therefore, in order to comprehensively reveal the topic, the material presented by the authors in the collective monograph is structured according to four thematic sections: the first section is devoted to the territorial and social dimensions of the January Uprising in the context of the involvement and attitude of the population of the Ukrainian provinces of the Russian Empire to it; analysis of the geopolitical context of the uprising - the second; the study of its consequences through the prism of socio-economic and national dimensions - the third; historical memory of the uprising in memories and receptions - the fourth.en_US
dc.description.abstractПольське національно-визвольне Січневе повстання 1863–1864 рр., яке охопило західні та південно-західні терени Російської імперії мало, зокрема, і свої виразні українські виміри, ретроспективному огляду яких і присвячено пропоновану колективну монографію. Виміри ці багатогранні, тому з метою всебічного розкриття теми поданий авторами матеріал у колективній монографії структуровано за чотирма тематичними розділами: територіальному і соціальному вимірам Січневого повстання в контексті залучення й ставлення до нього населення українських губерній Російської імперії присвячено перший розділ; аналізові геополітичного контексту повстання – другий; дослідженню його наслідків крізь призму вимірів соціально-економічного і національного – третій; історичній пам’яті про повстання у спогадах і рецепціях – четвертий.uk_UA
