Abstract
This policy paper has been written as part of the project Civil Society against Corruption in Ukraine: Political Roles, Advocacy Strategies, and Impact which is funded by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research. This paper aims to analyse this empirical puzzle through a study of the institutional and structural contextual factors that shape society-driven anticorruption initiatives in the regions of Ukraine.
