dc.description.abstractSubstance abuse is an ongoing global public health issue. The impact of negative club-culture practices based on various anecdotal evidences are very disturbing and a cause of concern for public health safety and stability. In order to understand the depth of the impact of negative club-culture practices, several theoretical perspectives were explored and utilized and recommendations and strategies on how to contain and reduce this situation to it’s barest minimum were identified. The study was conducted in Lagos state, south-west, Nigeria.
