Abstract
The paper studies English means of expressing obligation in contracts for an unlimited number of users, i.e. the contracts "signed" by the company and the users of its website. The obligation is expressed with the help of deontic modal auxiliary verbs, finite forms of the verbs (Present Simple and Future Simple Tense forms), and phrases and words (verbs, nouns and adjectives) denoting obligation. Their semantic and grammatical features are analysed within the corpus compiled of 17 contracts for an unlimited number of users that contains 64000 words. The corpus analysis was carried out in SketchEngine software to investigate quantitative and qualitative features of the linguistic units in question, analyse their use in context. The language of obligation in contracts used by contract drafters is also in the focus of investigation. The result of investigation shows that modal auxiliary verbs as well as specified expressions are widely used to denote obligation. The shades of meaning of the expressions slightly differ but they all have the function to express obligation of the party under the contract provisions. Thus, it was possible to classify all these semantic and grammatical means into two groups, namely expressing obligation via grammatical means and expressing obligation via semantic means.

У статті розглядаються лексичні та граматичні засоби на позначення зобов'язання англійської мови, які застосовуються у контрактах для необмеженої кількості користувачів, а саме контрактів, що укладаються між компанією та користувачами її вебсайту. До засобів вираження зобов'язання англійської мови належать деонтичні модальні дієслова, значимі дієслова у формах Present Simple і Future Simple Tense, словосполучення і слова (дієслова, іменники і прикметники), семантична структура яких містить компонент "зобов'язання". Це дослідження присвячене вивченню семантичних і граматичних рис цих мовних одиниць, для чого було складено корпус з 17 контрактів для необмеженої кількості користувачів розміром 64000 слів. Для корпусного аналізу матеріалу була використана програма SketchEngine, за допомогою якої був здійснений квалітативний, квалітативний і контекстуальний аналіз мовних одиниць на позначення зобов'язання. Крім того, мови зобов'язання розглядається з погляду укладачів контрактів. У результаті дослідження було встановлено, що засоби вираження зобов'язання є продуктивними у досліжуваному матеріалі, що є результатом важливої ролі зобов'язань у контрактах. Мовні одиниці, що вивчаються, було розглянуто безпосередньо у зв'язку зі специфікою контрактів для необмеженої кількості користувачів, де спостерігається більше зобов'язань, які повинні виконувати користувачі, у той час як компанія-власник знімає з себе відповідальність за низку можливих порушень, і це впливає на вибір засобів вираження зобов'язань або відсутності зобов'язання.
