dc.descriptionThe relevance of the study is due to the fact that the problem of translating proper names in animated discourse is at the intersection of linguistics, translation studies and linguoculturology, and is relevant, since there is still no single strategy for their transmission in Ukrainian. It is proved that it is necessary to gradually abandon irregular correspondences and replace them with regular ones. Compliance with these rules is necessary to eradicate discord and amateurism in the transmission of proper names in animated discourse, correct their distortions and incompetent transmission in translations. The relevance of the study is also determined by the difficulties of translating proper names in cartoons, as well as the specifics of working with the specified lexical layer in audiovisual translation. The translation of cartoons is one of the most difficult, and the features of the transmission of onyms in animated films in Ukrainian are associated with linguistic and extralinguistic factors. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive linguistic and cultural analysis of the features and methods of transmitting proper names in animation discourse in the process of dubbed audiovisual translation of cartoons from English into Ukrainian. As a result of the analysis, a conclusion is made about the factors that influence the choice of translation strategy and the corresponding translation techniques. With the growing need for the analysis of audiovisual video-verbal texts, the number of publications on this topic has increased. It is noted that in our time, less and less attention is paid to the translation of proper names, which means the prevalence of such a method of translation as transcribing proper names from English without transmitting their meaning in Ukrainian. It is proven that earlier translators tried to completely replace unusual or dissonant proper names with more familiar analogues for the Ukrainian-speaking audience. Now there is a refusal from replacement in favor of transcription, and in some cases, tracing or replacement are used, and they are not always successful.en_US
dc.description.abstractАктуальність дослідження обумовлена тим, що проблема перекладу власних назву мультиплікаційному дискурсі знаходиться на перетині лінгвістики, перекладознавства та лінгвокульторології є актуальною, оскільки досі немає єдиної стратегії їх передачі українською мовою. Доведено, що необхідно поступово відмовлятися від нерегулярних відповідностей та замінювати їх регулярними. Дотримання цих правил необхідне для викорінення різнобою та самодіяльності у передачі власних назв мультиплікаційного дискурсу, виправлення їх спотворень та некомпетентної передачі у перекладах. Актуальність дослідження визначається також труднощами перекладу власних назв у мультфільмах, а також специфікою роботи із зазначеним лексичним пластом в аудіовізуальному перекладі. Переклад мультфільмів є одним із найскладніших, а особливості передачі онімів у мультиплікаційних фільмах українською мовою пов’язані з лінгвістичними та екстралінгвістичними факторами. Мета дослідження полягає в комплексному лінгвокультурному аналізі особливостей та способів передачі власних назв у мультиплікаційному дискурсі у процесі дубльованого аудіовізуального перекладу мультфільмів з англійської на українську мову. В результаті аналізу зроблено висновок про фактори, що впливають на вибір перекладацької стратегії та відповідні перекладацькі прийоми. Зі зростанням потреби в аналізі аудіовізуальних відеовербальних текстів число публікацій на цю тему збільшилося. Зазначено, що наш час перекладу власних назв приділяється все менше уваги, що означає переважання такого способу перекладу, як транскрибування власних назв з англійської мови без передачі їхнього сенсу українською мовою. Доведено, що раніше перекладачі намагалися повністю замінювати незвичайні або неблагозвучні власні назви на більш звичні для україномовної аудиторії аналоги. Зараз спостерігається відмова від заміни на користь транскрипції, а в окремих випадках використовуються калькування або заміна, причому вони не завжди вдалі.uk_UA
