Abstract
Herein, we report the preparation of samples of Calcium sulphate doped with Ag+ (0.25 – 1%) and Cu2+ (0.25 – 0.5%), studying their structural and antibacterial properties (gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Enterocossus faecalis, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa from the DSMZ were used as test cultures), and transformation, upon contact with a model physiological environment (Kokubo's SBF).
