dc.descriptionDuring the first thirty years of Ukraine's independence, there was a scientific debate between supporters of different versions of Ukrainian genesis. It ended with a convincing victory for the early mediaeval concept of the origin of the Ukrainian people founded by M. Hrushevskyi. Its competitors in the thirty-year struggle for the affection of the citizens of Ukraine were the Trypillia and Late Middle Ages versions of Ukrainian genesis. The first of them confirmed its status as a proofless fantasy, and the second as a Soviet ideologeme. The article examines the current state of the concept of the early mediaeval origin of the Ukrainian people. Modern European ethnology makes it possible to reconcile the phases of Ukrainogenesis with the stages of development of most peoples of the middle part of Europe, who live along the northern border of the Roman Empire. Most of them were born after the fall of the Roman Empire and the end of the Great Migration of Peoples in the 5th–7th centuries. Since the beginning of the Middle Ages, the French, Spaniards, English, Czechs, Serbs, Croats, Poles, Ruthenians-Ukrainians went through three main phases of ethnic development: the tribal phase of the Early Middle Ages (5th–10th centuries), the phase of feudal-aristocratic nations of the developed Middle Ages (10th–16th centuries), and modern nations of the 16th–21st centuries. The first Ukrainian tribes were the historical Antis, according to M. Hrushevskyi, and the Slavs (Penkivka and Prague archaeological cultures of the 5th and 7th centuries). They were transformed into the tribes of Polians, Drevlians, Volhynians, Ulychis, Tivers, and White Croats (Raikove culture of the 8th–10th centuries). The above-mentioned related tribes in the 10th century consolidated in the state of Rus into a feudal-aristocratic nation of Ukrainian Ruthenians, which lost statehood in the 13th and 14th centuries as a result of the expansion of the Mongols, Poles, and Lithuanians. In the 17th century, Ukraine entered the phase of building a modern nation. This is evidenced by certain features of the bourgeois revolution in the uprising led by B. Khmelnytskyi. Unlike the European states, the construction of a modern nation in Ukraine and other post-Soviet states has not been completed until our time. The main reason is the destruction of elements of theEuropean market economy by the despotic russian empire and its direct descendants, the USSR and putin's russia.en_US
dc.description.abstractПротягом перших тридцяти років незалежності України між прибічниками різних версій україногенези точилася наукова дискусія, яка часом набувала гострих форм. У наші дні вона завершилася переконливою перемогою заснованої М. Грушевським ранньосередньовічної концепції походження українського народу. Її конкурентами в тридцятирічній боротьбі за прихильність громадян України були трипільська та пізньосередньовічна версії україногенези. Перша з них підтвердила свій статус бездоказової фантазії, а друга – радянської ідеологеми. В статті розглядається сучасний стан концепції ранньосередньовічного походження українського народу. Сучасна європейська етнологія дає можливість узгодити фази україногенези з етапами розвитку більшості народів середньої смуги Європи, які мешкають уздовж північного кордону Римської імперії. Більшість із них народилися після падіння Римської імперії і кінця Великого переселення народів у V–VІІ ст. З початку середньовіччя до наших днів французи, іспанці, англійці, чехи, серби, хорвати, поляки, русини-українці пройшли три основні фази етнічного розвитку – племінну раннього середньовіччя (V–Х ст.), феодально-аристократичних націй розвиненого середньовіччя (Х–ХVІ ст.) та модерних націй ХVІІ–ХХІ ст. Першими українськими племенами були історичні анти, за М. Грушевським, та склавини (празька та пеньківська археологічні культури V–VІІ ст. відповідно). Вони трансформувалися в літописні племена полян, деревлян, волинян, уличів, тиверців, білих хорватів (райковецька культура VІІІ–Х ст.). Згадані споріднені племена в Х ст. консолідувалися в державі Русь у феодально-аристократичну націю русинів-українців, яка втратила державність у ХІІІ–ХІV ст. внаслідок експансії монголів, поляків, литовців. У ХVІІ ст. Україна вступила в фазу будівництва модерної нації. Про це свідчать певні риси буржуазної революції в повстанні під проводом Б. Хмельницького. На відміну від держав Європи будівництво модерної нації в Україні та інших державах пострадянського простору не завершилося до нашого часу. Головною причиною є нищення елементів європейської ринкової економіки деспотичною російською імперією та її прямими нащадками – СРСР та путінською росією.uk_UA
