dc.description.abstractWyobrażenia o tym, że dusza przyjmuje postać ptaka, nie mieszczą się w opisanym przez W. Iwanowa i W. Toporowa, a opartym na systemie opozycji binarnych modelu świata (uznanym za uniwersalny), w którym ptak jest witalnym symbolem demiurgicznym. Autorka analizuje przykłady wyobrażeń i praktyk ludowych, sprzeczne z tym modelem, potwierdzające istnienie bardziej złożonych związków pomiędzy ptakiem a śmiercią/duszą/kobietą.pl_PL
dc.description.abstractThe idea that the soul assumes the figure o f a bird does not fit into Ivanov and loporov’s world model, based on the allegedly universal system o f binary oppositions. Aceording to the model, the bird is a vital demiurgic symbol. The present article armlyzes examples of folk ideas and practices contrary to that model and confirming the ехistence of more complex relationships between the bird and death/the soul/the woumu.en_US
