Abstract
This article deals with the analysis of the procedure of amending the Constitution of Ukraine in the
light of legal frameworks for public participation. Special attention is paid for key issues of forming
legal mechanisms, which should ensure realization of basic elements of direct and deliberative democracy
in the context of constitution amending.
