dc.description.abstractThe article presents an empirical research of the regional inequalities and impact of changes in economic integration on regional employment for different regions of Ukraine. We conducted a comparative analysis of the dynamic changes in the employment level and sectoral diversification. Based on empirical studies of the structure of regional employment by various economic activities we evaluated a number of indices, including sectoral diversification indices of employment for each region, indices regional diversification of employment for each sector, regional indices of economic integration with different groups of countries, attractiveness geographical regions indices. Based on regional data employment structure we estimated a series of econometric models that allow to evaluate the impact of the employment sectoral diversification index of the region, the index of geographic attractiveness of the region as well as the initial level of economic integration of the region with Europe and the CIS and their change over the six years on changes in regional employment in general, as well as in the sectors of agriculture and industry in particular.en_US
