dc.descriptionThe article conceptualizes the political and philosophical heritage of two representatives of Ionian early Greek philosophy – Xenophanes and Heraclitus. It is established that the Colophon thinker was one of the first philosophers to find himself in a situation of political exile. His works are filled with criticism of the existing socio-political system, both in relation to the top of the city (tyrant) and ordinary citizens. Because of this, we see a negative attitude of Xenophanes to tyranny, excessive arrogance and arrogance, as all this can lead to destabilizing and destructive phenomena in society – civil conflicts and strife. It is proved that the philosophical and socio-political activities of Heraclitus are ambivalent: if the inhabitants of his hometown did not understand him, condemned him, then from other cities of the Ionian region, Balkan Greece and Persia received quite positive and positive feedback. Unlike Xenophanes, the philosopher was positive about the tyranny that existed in the city of Ephesus. This, in our opinion, was due to the fact that Heraclitus himself came from the royal family, and therefore he had a close understanding that power should be concentrated in the hands of one man, but not the people as a whole.en_US
dc.description.abstractВ статті концептуалізується політико-філософська спадщина двох представників іонійської ранньогрецької філософії – Ксенофана та Геракліта. Встановлено, що Колофонський мислитель був одним з перших філософів, який опинився в ситуації політичного вигнання. Його праці наповнені критикою існуючого суспільнополітичного ладу як щодо верхівки міста (тирана), так і пересічних громадян. Через це ми бачимо негативне ставлення Ксенофана до тиранії, надмірної пихатості і чванливості, оскільки все це може призвести до дестабілізуючих і деструктивних явищ у соціумі – громадянських конфліктів та міжусобиць. Доведено, що філософська та суспільно-політична діяльність Геракліта є амбівалентною: якщо жителі рідного міста його не розуміли, засуджували, то з інших міст Іонійського регіону, балканської Греції та Персії лунали досить позитивні і схвальні відгуки. На відміну від Ксенофана, філософ позитивно ставився до тиранії, яка існувала в місті Ефес. Це, на наш погляд, було обумовлено тим, що сам Геракліт походив з царського роду, а тому йому було близьке розуміння того, що влада має зосереджуватися в руках однієї людини, але не народу загалом.uk_UA
