dc.description.abstractЗдійснене нами дослідження засвідчило велику значущість відомостей турецьких та українських писемних джерел. В ньому обговорюється тлумачення термінологічного значення слова "козак", а також пояснюються обставини виникнення та розвитку Запорозького козацтва як військово-політичної організації. В матеріалах нашого наукового дослідження представлена інформація про напади запорозьких козаків на чорноморські прибережні землі Османської держави, і, зокрема, йдеться про причини та наслідки походів, здійснюваних українськими козаками на міста й фортеці, розташовані на південних берегах Чорного моря. Повідомляється про тривалі походи козацької флотилії певними морськими шляхами та про володіння, розташовані в низовинах річок Дніпра, Буга, Дністра та Дунаю. Щодо досліджених нами подій, зокрема наголошується, що в результаті наступу Українського козацького війська Османська держава зазнавала важких втрат, а саме: чимало людей потрапляли в полон, міста й фортеці захоплювалися, а нерухоме майно знищувалося або просто руйнувалося.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractOn the base of the study there is underlined the importance of the data available in the Ukrainian and Turkish sources. There is discussed the terminological meaning of the word "Cossack", as well as explained the circumstances of the development of the Zaporizia Cossacks as a military and political organisation. Our scientific study deals with the attacks of Ukrainian Cossacks on the shore areas of the Black Sea that belonged to the Ottoman Empire, and in particular - we consider the reasons and consequences of the attacks of Cossacks on the cities and towns, as well as fortresses located on the southern shore ofthe Black Sea. The paper informs us about long-lasting marches of the Cossack Fleet along the marine routes, and about the subordinated lands located in the low areas near the rivers ofDnieper, Buh, Dniester and Danube. Asfor the events having been studied, there is underlined that, resulting from an attack of the Ukrainian Cossack Army, the Ottoman Empire had serious losses, and in particular: quite a lot of people -were captivated, cities and towns - were conquered and gained, the possessions - were destroyed.en_US
