Abstract
The article explores the potential for developing fluorite deposits in Ukraine, focusing on international cooperation and the revitalization of the geological industry. It outlines the classification of deposits, as well as the composition and properties of the mineral, highlighting its significance for metallurgy, the chemical industry, and nuclear fuel production. The current state of reserves is noted, with a balance sheet estimate of 3.9 million tons and a forecast of 50 million tons. The lack of industrial production and reliance on imports are also discussed.
