dc.descriptionThe training of specialists in the non-linguistic institutions of higher education consists of the development of foreign language competence which allows professional contacts in a foreign language in various fields and situations; which contributes to the development of the desire and ability of the future specialist to function as a strong language personality of a democratic type, who has a high level of linguistic competence in professionally significant language events of professionally oriented linguistic activity. Analytical review of the scientific and theoretical literature on pedagogy and methodology made it possible to determine the independence of students as a basis for the development of the necessary level of formation of foreign language competence. It is proved that independence is a special form of manifestation of activity as a subject characteristic. It is considered as a quality of the student’s personality that develops during the development of his foreign language competence in educational institutions. Components of stability are defined; motivational, evaluative and regulatory, organizational and operational. Foreign language competence is considered as a complex personal education that includes knowledge, skills, abilities, personal qualities, as well as linguistic, intercultural and professional experience that ensures communication, which consists of linguistic, sociocultural, sociolinguistic, discursive and strategic components. The concept of the development of students’ foreign language competence based on the activation of their independence is characterized. The mechanism that ensures the development of students’ foreign language competence based on the activation of their independence is the system of methodical support from the teacher at all stages of education. In the course of such training, reading is especially developed as a dominant type of language activity. The criteria for the development of foreign language competence are highlighted: linguistic, sociocultural, sociolinguistic, discursive and strategic. The criteria for assessing the levels of activation of independence are personalsemantic, reflexive-regulatory and operational. Three levels of development of students’ foreign language competence and corresponding three levels of independence were identified: high, medium and low.en_US
dc.description.abstractПідготовка фахівців у немовних закладах вищої освіти полягає в розвитку іншомовної компетенції, котра дозволяє здійснювати професійні контакти іноземною мовою в різних сферах та ситуаціях, що сприяє розвитку прагнення та здатності майбутнього фахівця функціонувати як сильній мовній особистості демократичного типу з високим рівнем лінгвістичної компетенції у професійно значущих мовних подіях. Аналітичний огляд науково-теоретичної літератури з педагогіки та методики дозволив визначити самостійність студентів як передумову для розвитку необхідного рівня сформованості іншомовної компетенції. Доведено, що самостійність – особлива форма прояву активності як суб’єктної характеристики. Її розглянуто як рису особистості студента, що виробляється під час розвитку його іншомовної компетенції в закладах освіти. Визначено компоненти стійкості: мотиваційний, оціночно-регуляційний, організаційно-діяльнісний. Розглянуто іншомовну компетенцію як наслідок комплексної самоосвіти, котрий полягає в наявності відповідних знань, навичок, умінь, здібностей, особистих якостей, а також мовного, міжкультурного та професійного досвіду задля забезпечення спілкування, та складається з лінгвістичного, соціокультурного, соціолінгвістичного, дискурсивного та стратегічного компонентів. Охарактеризовано концепцію розвитку іншомовної компетенції студентів як результат активізації їхньої самостійності. Механізмом забезпечення розвитку іншомовної компетенції студентів на основі активізації їхньої самостійності є система методичного супроводу з боку викладача на всіх етапах навчання. Під час такого навчання суттєво розвиваються навички читання як основного виду мовної діяльності. Виділено критерії розвитку іншомовної компетенції: лінгвістичний, соціокультурний, соціолінгвістичний, дискурсивний та стратегічний. Критеріями оцінки рівнів активізації самостійності є особистісно-смисловий, рефлексивно-регуляторний та операційний. Виявлено три рівні розвитку іншомовної компетенції студентів та відповідні три рівні самостійності: високий, середній та низький.uk_UA
