У статті проаналізовано концепт двійництва-віддзеркалення, що пов’язаний зі здатністю
видимої матерії до самокопіювання. Світ у Чубаєвій поезії постає внаслідок взаємодії видимого
(ілюзорного) і невидимого; що більше, внаслідок розбіжності між "нарочито існуючою" матерією
і важкоосяжною суттю. У символічній системі Чубаєвої поезії варто розрізняти концепти ілюзії
(маски, відображення), що заступає сенс, подвоюючи його, й сліду, що вказує на відсутній сенс.
In the article, the concept of doubling (reflection), which is connected with the feature of visible substance
to copy itself, is analyzed. The world in Chubay’s poetry is a result of interaction between visible (illusive)
and invisible and, what is more, the result of divergence between "expressly existing" substance and elusive
sense. In the symbolic system of Chubay’s poetry the concept of an illusion (mask, reflection) obscuring the
sense by doubling it and the concept of a sign indicating the missing sense are differentiated.
