Стаття містить аналіз перекладу українських складнопідрядних займенниково-співвідносних речень симетричної структури англійською мовою в художньому тексті. Продемонстровано поширені та непоширені моделі перекладу таких речень. Визначено види трансформацій під час перекладу та схарактеризовано причини їх появи. Простежено особливі випадки перекладу займенниково-співвідносних речень симетричної структури.
The article contains an analysis of Ukrainian complex pronoun-correlative sentences of symmetrical structure by means of the English language on the basis of the Ukrainian novel and its translation. Common and uncommon models of translation of such sentences are demonstrated. The types of transformations during translation are determined and the reasons for their appearance are described. Special cases of translation of pronoun-relative sentences of symmetrical structure are traced.
