However, the political disputes driven by tragic shared history made the two nations think of each other with great suspicion and distrust for decades, without noticeable signs of recovery. Throughout 9 years from 2013 to 2021, the share of Japanese population who had a negative impression of South Korea has been fluctuating between 40% to 50%, whereas the corresponding share of Koreans viewing Japan negatively has been oscillating from 50% to 70% (Genron NPO, 2021).Item Women representation at the parliament of Japan: changes through the lens of liberal and postmodern feminism(2023) Kolida, Kateryna; Mykal, OlenaThe aim of this paper is to define the changes of women representation at the parliament of Japan after the implementation of international and domestic policies by using two frameworks of feminist political theory – liberal and postmodern.
