| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the present study is to examine linguosemiotic patterns observable in contemporary English-language chick-lit novels and to describe their role in the organisation of the fictional text. In this study, hybrid textual organisation is treated not as a mechanical combination of genre features, but as the coexistence of different discursive and pragmatic elements within a single narrative framework.
