dc.descriptionIn the article the interpretation of the figures of apostle Andrew and st. prince Volodymyr and generally the topic of baptism of Rus ’ in some east Slavic monuments of the XVII c. is analysed. First of all it concerns the most significant Ukrainian historical writing of the first half of the XVII c.— «Palinodia» of Zakharia Kopysten’sky. The article proceeds as follows the transition (translation) of the citations of Ukrainian piece of work into Russian theological tradition of the period. On basis of the adaptation mode the author draw a conclusion that using the same patterns and quotations the two different models of historical identity — Kyivan and Muscovite — were constructed. Struggle for Kyivan heritage manifested itself in the developing of theory «Kyiv — the godguarded city» in Ukraine and «Moscow — the new Kyiv» in Russia.en

Андрея и св. князя Владимира и, в целом, темы крещения Руси в нескольких восточнославянских памятниках XVII ст., первоначально — в самом значительном украинском историческом сочинении первой половины XVIIв., «Палинодии» Захарии Копыстенского. Далее прослеживается движение цитат украинского произведения в русскую богословскую традицию того же периода.uk
