dc.description.abstractThe article includes the results of the research, which was done in October 1998 within the frames of joint Ukrainian – British Farm and Agri-Business Support Services Project in Donetsk oblast. As a result of conducting 32 focus-groups in 9 villages of Starobeshevo and Slovyansk regions and 16 expert interview there were pointed out the vulnerable social groups of people who lived in the villages under study their problems and needs. Suggestions of village people and experts as to the ways of solving these problems are analyzed in the article.en
